Prices and promotions
Transparency rules for prices, reductions, coupons and promotions.
1. Sale price
Product prices are shown in RON and represent the final product price to the consumer. Delivery and additional services are shown separately before the order is placed.
2. Previous price – 30-day rule
When announcing a reduction, the previous price is generally the lowest price used in the same sales channel during the 30 days before the reduction. For products offered for less than 30 days, the lowest price in that shorter period is used and that shorter reference period is stated clearly.
3. Discount percentage
The percentage is calculated against the lawful reference price. The struck-through previous price, reduced price, percentage and campaign period for temporary promotions are displayed clearly.
4. Progressive reductions
During the same continuous campaign, if a reduction increases progressively, the law may allow the undiscounted price before the first reduction to remain the previous price, subject to statutory conditions.
5. Coupons and special offers
Coupon conditions – eligibility, period, minimum basket, exclusions and limits – are clearly stated. If personalised pricing based on automated decision-making were ever used, this would be disclosed as required by law; it is not currently used.
6. Price history
We retain the records necessary to demonstrate the lawful previous price and compliance of promotions with applicable rules.
