SEISHINDO · LEGAL INFORMATION
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions set out the main contractual rules for online sales between Seishin Do SRL and customers using seishindo.ro.
1. Scope and definitions
The store offers books (printed and, where separately indicated, digital editions), physical music CDs, and made-to-order or clearly personalised gift items. The store does not sell food, beverages, medicines, electronics or other technical goods. A “consumer” is a natural person acting outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
Browsing the website alone does not create a sales contract. A contract is concluded when Seishin Do SRL confirms acceptance of the order on a durable medium, usually by email.
2. Product information
Each product page displays the essential characteristics and price relevant to that product. For books this may include language, ISBN, author, publisher, format, page count and binding; for music CDs, the artist, release and physical medium; for personalised gifts, material, size, variant, text, image or other personalisation options and the information required to produce the order.
Images may be illustrative. If there is a material discrepancy, the textual description and order confirmation prevail. An obvious technical or pricing display error will be corrected before contract conclusion and the customer will be informed.
3. Ordering process
The customer selects the product, quantity and variant where applicable, provides billing/delivery information, chooses available delivery and payment methods, reviews the total and mandatory notices, and submits the order using a button clearly indicating an obligation to pay.
Input errors can be corrected before submission. An automatic receipt message may be merely technical and does not necessarily mean acceptance. The contract is formed when acceptance is confirmed on a durable medium.
4. Prices and discounts
Prices are final consumer product prices in RON. Delivery and unavoidable extra charges are displayed before checkout completion. When a price reduction is announced, the “previous price” is the statutory reference price, generally the lowest price used in the relevant sales channel during the 30 days before the reduction. See “Prices and promotions”.
5. Payment
Accepted payment methods are clearly shown at the latest at the start of the ordering process and in checkout. No undisclosed charge is imposed. For card payments, full card details are handled by the payment provider; Seishin Do SRL does not store the full card number or CVC.
6. Delivery and performance
Delivery areas, restrictions, costs and estimated times are shown in checkout. Unless otherwise agreed, goods are delivered without undue delay and within the statutory time limit. Risk generally passes to a consumer when the consumer or a third party designated by them, other than the carrier, takes physical possession.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. Timing, return, refund, exceptions and the online withdrawal function are described on the “Withdrawal and returns” page.
8. Main withdrawal exceptions
The exceptions relevant to the SeishinDo range include, in particular: gift items made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised; music CDs or other audio recordings supplied sealed once they have been unsealed; and digital books supplied without a tangible medium once performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement that the withdrawal right is lost. These exceptions do not remove statutory rights where a product is defective or does not match the agreed order.
9. Legal guarantee of conformity
Consumer goods are covered by Romanian statutory conformity rights. For new goods, the minimum period is generally two years from delivery. Remedies may include repair, replacement, proportionate price reduction or termination where the statutory conditions are met. Digital content is governed by Emergency Ordinance 141/2021.
10. Intellectual property
The website, publishing identity, texts, covers, images, logos and digital publications may be protected by copyright, trademark and other rights. Purchase grants normal personal use of the product and does not transfer reproduction, distribution, communication-to-the-public or resale rights except as permitted by law.
11. Conduct and abuse prevention
Interference with the website, unauthorised-access attempts, abusive automation, fraudulent orders, false information and infringement of third-party rights are prohibited. Lawful and proportionate technical measures may be used to protect the service and prevent fraud.
12. Liability
Seishin Do SRL does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under mandatory consumer law. In the event of maintenance, third-party outages or force majeure, the provider acts within the applicable law and informs affected customers where necessary.
13. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints may be sent to info@seishindo.ro. Consumers may contact Romania’s consumer-protection authority (ANPC) and use its alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanism. The former EU ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer linked.
14. Governing law, language and changes
Romanian law applies without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence where applicable. Romanian is available for contracting; Hungarian and English support may also be offered. Changes apply to future orders and do not retroactively reduce rights under already concluded contracts.
15. Personalised gift items
When ordering a personalised item, the customer is responsible for checking the accuracy of names, text, dates, images, artwork, size, colour and other individual specifications supplied. Where the order flow provides an approval preview, production is based on the approved version.
The customer may provide only text, images or artwork they are entitled to use. We may refuse unlawful, rights-infringing or technically impossible personalisation requests. The finished item must match the approved or clearly stated personalisation; the withdrawal exception does not limit statutory remedies for defective production or a product that does not match the agreed specification.
